With Moratel, taking an online Quran class no longer means fitting your life around an academy timetable. You choose the teacher, pick a time slot that works for you, and join a live one-on-one session from your phone — whether you want to improve your reading, memorize the Quran, or perfect your Tajweed.

How Online Quran Sessions Work

Getting started takes only a few minutes, and every step happens inside the free Moratel app:

  • Browse verified Quran teachers, read their profiles, and listen to their style of teaching.
  • Book a 30-minute session in a time slot that fits your day — mornings, evenings, or weekends.
  • Join the live session with video and audio, recite to your teacher, and receive instant correction and guidance.

What You Can Learn in Your Sessions

Every session is private, so your teacher focuses entirely on your goals:

  • Quran reading — build fluency and confidence reciting from the mushaf.
  • Quran memorization (Hifz) — follow a structured plan with regular revision.
  • Tajweed — learn the rules of recitation and apply them with live feedback.
  • Classes for kids — patient teachers experienced with young learners.

Why Students Choose Moratel for Online Quran Classes

  • Every teacher is vetted for their recitation, knowledge, and teaching experience.
  • One-on-one attention means you progress faster than in group classes.
  • Flexible scheduling works across time zones — learn from anywhere in the world.
  • The app is fully bilingual in Arabic and English, with a built-in Quran library and practice quizzes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are the teachers certified?

Yes. No teacher appears on Moratel before submitting their qualifications and certificates plus recordings of their recitation and teaching, which we review ourselves. Every teacher profile has an intro video and their specialisations so you can judge for yourself before booking.

Can I pick a female teacher?

Yes. When browsing teachers you can filter for female or male teachers, and every session is a private one-on-one class between you and your teacher.

How do I pay?

Your first session is free and needs no card. After that you buy a bundle of minutes inside the app: in Egypt by bank card (Visa or Mastercard) in Egyptian pounds through a secure checkout, and elsewhere through the App Store or Google Play. Minutes never expire.

What happens in the free session?

A private video session with the teacher you choose: they listen to your recitation, assess your level and suggest a plan for your goal. It unlocks as soon as you verify your phone number, with no commitment afterwards.

How much do online Quran classes cost?

The Moratel app is free to download on iOS and Android. You can browse all teachers and explore the Quran library for free, then book live one-on-one sessions with the teacher you choose.

How long is each online Quran session?

Each session is 30 minutes long — focused enough to make real progress while keeping your full attention, and short enough to fit into a busy day.

Can I choose my own Quran teacher?

Yes. You browse teacher profiles, see their specializations and availability, and pick the teacher who best matches your level and goals. You can keep learning with the same teacher session after session.

Are the classes one-on-one or in groups?

All Moratel sessions are private one-on-one classes between you and your teacher, so the entire session is dedicated to your recitation, your questions, and your progress.
